Hi - just a quick request that if you would like to reply to my blog, please use the comments section of the blog page...not our home email address. I would like to keep all the the comments together with the posts - and since I am sharing my thoughts, I don't want Callum to get any more worried about me than he already is.
Thanks!
Lorna
Hi Lorna,
ReplyDeleteI read your blog yesterday before I went to work and cried and cried. I too really enjoyed the "normal" times we all had together in Medicine Hat and Saskatoon. It was good to spend time and not be reminded of the seriousness of Cal's cancer.
I love you both and pray for you every day. I don't know what else to do....if you want/need anything please muster up the strength to ask.
I will be in touch.
With lots of love,
Karen
It is comforting to know that I am not alone in this. I don't want people to be really sad...the blog helps me to clear my head but I do know it will be emotional at times. It is so nice having those "normal" days. Thanks for being there. And I will ask when I figure out what we need. For now, day by day, and minute by minute we will go. Love Lorna
ReplyDeleteHi Lorna,
ReplyDeleteIf there is anything you guys need at all just give us a call. We don't live too far away.
Your strength and bravery is amazing!

ReplyDeleteSaw this quote and thought of you.
Thanks for posting your emotions and being honest about your journey. It is so correct walking together, alone. I am living with someone with cancer and have the same feelings about keeping your true emotions to yourself. It's nice to read your blog and realize others feel the same way and we can take strength from each other. Hugs, Donna
BRad and Shauna...thank you. We may be calling you...
ReplyDeleteDonna - thank you. I miss you so much....
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeletePlease let me know when you're going to be in Winnipeg...and if I have a day off I would like to come and see you.
I know you're both going through an extremely difficult time and there will be days when you won't have a song in your heart (I know it's easier said than done, but)...sing anyway! : )
You are both in my thoughts and prayers!
